Kind of funny...I actually have LX-3 and use the same Metz you have. I was looking for the Metz manual and found your website...It is a good combination actually and one of my main setup if I want to travel light.

Glad you like my pictures!

I've actually always bought my cameras off eBay, with the exception of this LX3 which I found as a demonstrator at Harvey Norman.

It's quite safe to buy online, but eBay sellers are often based overseas so it might be difficult when you want to make warranty claims.

If you use Google to look, you'll be able to find Aussie internet stores that sell the LX3 (brand new) at very competitive prices. My friend actually ordered a brand new one from one of those stores for the same as what I paid at Harvey Norman!

i am planning to buy a panasonic lx camera and wondered if i could ask you for some advice.
is it best to buy in online or at a bricks and mortar store?
i have never purchased an expensive item online.
just been looking at your panasonic Lx3 images on your flickr page. very nice!

Maybe some update in the future will iron that out. I think it would be a mistake for WP to force such a large memory increase in one upgrade. Especially since what our web service providers give us is often out of our control!

Oh that's right! Telstra did use the QR codes. It didn't really seem to take off in Australia though.

QR codes on tombstones is a cool idea. I'd like one on mine!

I have huge memory problems, and my provider (one.com) refuses to increase the PHP-menory limit above 16M.

The plugin that seems to create this problem for me is Google sitemaps.

It is very annoying, and I have not been able to find solutions to the problem.

The thing is that the flash unit doesn't sync with the camera directly.. it has to be manually adjusted. I've got the manual somewhere in my mess of a cupboard!

Think it could be the metering mode, (spot?) enclosed space and your dark colored shirt.

Or it could just be your monitor.
